We announce the winners of our 2019 competition

Our Summer competition has welcomed hundreds of entries over the past month, and we’ve chosen a winner! In fact there was so many entries that we’ve decided to give away two websites, one for Scouts, and one for Girlguiding.

We’re pleased to announce that One Voice Blackburn Scouts and Girlguiding Wallingford District are the winners of a completely free website for their organisations.

Congratulations to One Voice Blackburn Scouts and Girlguiding Wallingford District!

Our websites will solve many everyday problems that these Scout and Girlguiding organisations face, such as:

• Keep track of all information – All of our sites also come with news, events and gallery sections so that they can easily display what their organisation has been getting involved with. They’ll also have the option to add on any of our brand new functionality such as OSM and Google Calendar integration which will allow them to keep track of any events, programme and other important information all in one place.
• Improve communication and boost recruitment – Our websites come with customisable Join and Contact forms for young people and adult volunteers, along with a Site-Wide Search tool and local Group Finder. These tools all help with increasing recruitment of local members and volunteers and improve communication with existing members, parents and volunteers.
• Automate events and the adult training booking process – Websites built by us also now take bookings for adult training events at District level and above, directly through the website. This helps to minimise the steps needed to process a booking request and in turn, automating the whole process.
