2 years is a long time in the digital industry! That’s when our last website launched. Finding the time to work on your own website in such a fast-paced and busy environment is very tricky, but very rewarding!
Scout Websites was born in 2012, and was nothing more than an idea with a single webpage, a few visitors and the odd project now and again. Fast forward 4 years, and we’re The Scout Association’s recommended supplier, have a full-time team, have designed, built and launched over 250 websites, have an average of 200 users a day visit our own website, and 30 projects in our studio at once, some of those being the biggest Scouting websites in the UK! We couldn’t be happier!
We knew it was time to re-design and re-launch our own website, making it even bigger with more content, advice, imagery and a blog. The web is changing and advancing so quickly, however we’ve leapt ahead and produced a site which will hopefully allow Scout Websites to grow even further in the years to come!
The day before launch was testing, testing and more testing!
Our team have done a fantastic job. The website you’re using now was designed by our Managing Director and is developed within the WordPress content management system, allowing for easy edits going forward. We’ve introduced a blog to keep you all up to date and show you our latest work as soon as it’s live.
We’re very pleased with the results and hope you like it, however if you spot any error 404 pages or typos, please just give us a shout!
