Dorset Scouts’ upgraded website goes live!

We’ve recently launched Dorset County Scouts’ new and improved website after they returned to us to upgrade into the new Skills for Life branding.

We’re pleased to announce that Dorset County Scouts’ new and improved website has now gone live!

Dorset Scouts returned to us earlier in the year to upgrade the site we previously built them into the new Skills for Life branding.

During the build process, Dorset asked us to transfer all of their existing content from the old site, whilst editing and adapting it to fit the new and improved design.

Dorset Scouts is home to over 6,500 boys and girls aged between 6 and 25.

The new site boasts a number of our current features and functionalities, including but not limited to:

Group finder functionality
Training availability calendar and booking system linked with Eventbrite
Comprehensive adult support section with hub areas for useful information
Latest News posts from around the county
Upcoming events area for county-wide events

In addition, there are also new and improved elements visible across the site such as bespoke forms and ReCAPTCHA to prevent spam, features to improve user experience, communication and to assist with recruitment of potential new members and volunteers.

There is also the option to easily integrate Google Calendar and OSM, use bookable training events, add an online shop and activate individual members login should they need to in the future.
