Girlguiding Durham North goes live!

We’re pleased to announce that Girlguiding Durham North’s new website is now live!

The past few months have been an exciting time for Scout Websites as we’ve worked together with Girlguiding Durham North on their brand new website.

The County, based in the North East of England, approached us with the hope of creating a site that is on brand with the current Girlguiding guidelines and also displays their County’s individual identity with features that are sleek and sophisticated, yet easy for their members to use.

Design

Creating a design that’s synonymous with the Girlguiding brand is essential to maintain consistency and to promote the organisation’s identity as a whole for their local areas.

Taking advantage of the specific design elements, fonts, colours and imagery, makes for a website that’s unique but also beautifully on-brand.

Girlguiding Durham North came to us with a comprehensive sitemap in mind that allowed us to adapt our design and functionality to fit their County needs without compromising on essential content.

Functionality

Did you know: All of the functionality that’s available for our Scout Websites sites, can be adapted for use across Girlguiding websites?

From important news, events and photo galleries to bookable adult training events, joining, nights away notification and booking forms to a local group finder, the possibilities for your Group, District, County or Region are endless!

Security

As with all organisations that have a duty to protect their young people, privacy is a main priority for Girlguiding Durham North.

All of the pages, news, events and photo galleries can be password protected to ensure maximum security, keeping sensitive information private from non-members.

Leaders are also given login information so that they are able to be fully in control once the site has launched. This means that they can update any information, edit, maintain and upload content and adjust any additional pages that may need extra security along the way.
