Scout Websites was launched in 2012 to help solve everyday problems for Scout Groups, Districts, Counties and Campsites across the UK. Since then, we’ve garnered interest from organisations involved with Scouting all over the world.
From international Groups that follow British Scouting, to Units in remote areas, and Volunteers in countries such as America and New Zealand, we’ve had enquiries from many areas of the globe. Towards the end of 2019, our first step into international waters began with Boy Scouts of America. Behind the scenes, our team have been working on an offering for Scouting divisions across the United States.
Here’s a quick preview of what our product looks like when used within a Troop.
The new product has the same focuses and aims as those in the UK, such as improving communication, engagement and boosting recruitment, but with completely different branding, inline with Boy Scouts of America. We’ll help solve all kinds of problems that Leaders and Adult Volunteers face on a daily basis, and long term.
Problems we’ll solve include:
- Growing membership by improving your digital presence, along with directly integrating into systems that aid recruitment such as your online waiting list
- Generating revenue by offering online shop integration, with the ability to sell tickets and merchandise, and allowing equipment, venues, and other assets to easily be booked and paid for online
- Simplifying the donation process by offering one-off and recurring donations by card and direct debit
- Improving security by storing sensitive information behind password-protected areas, with the option for a full log-in system for parents and/or leaders
