Hello, we’re Scout Websites. We’re a team of experts in website design and development who are as passionate about Scouting as you are.
Being a subsidiary of a full-service, award-winning digital marketing agency, we’re clued up on digital trends, and understand the increasing demand from internet users, so we know quite a bit when it comes to designing and building an online presence, as well as marketing them afterwards. Most of our team have been involved in Scouts or Girlguiding growing up, and some of us are leaders, and some hold District and County roles locally today!
Our aim is to strive to improve the online presence of The Scouts and Girlguiding local areas. We do this by creating fun and engaging websites with a great design and flawless user experience for Sections, Groups, Districts/Divisions, Regions, Counties and Activity Centres that drive joining and solve everyday problems with engagement and communication. And if you want something extra that we haven’t already mentioned, then we can probably help with that too, just ask!
Scout Websites was founded by Josh Diamond in 2012, and now employs a team of 14 designers, developers and project managers here in our Liverpool offices. Josh has a wealth of experience in both web design, development and marketing, and holds several local Scouting volunteer roles in Cheshire.
Our team make sure they’re there for you whenever you need, whether that’s before or after launch, whether it’s because you’ve got a hosting question, or you need help updating something. We host every website that we build (unless you prefer otherwise), to ensure you’ll have the best customer experience possible, as everything is kept in one place.
With over 375+ websites under our belt for The Scouts, we’d definitely say we’re the experts! We work closely with the Heads of Marketing, Brand and Communications at Gilwell Park in London to ensure everything we do is on-brand and portrays the correct messaging. On top of this, we’ve worked with countless volunteers on projects for The Guide Association across the UK.
If you’re involved in The Scouts or Girlguiding, and would like to see what is involved with creating a new website for your Section, Group, District/Division, County, Region or Activity Centre, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us. We’ll be more than happy to communicate over email if it’s easier, or talk you through the process over the phone when you’ve got time. We know you’re volunteers, so outside of normal work hours is no problem with us!
