A team of digital experts with a huge passion for Scouting...
Hello, we’re Scout Websites! We’re a team of experts in website design and development who are passionate about Scouting. We have offices overlooking the Royal Albert Dock in Liverpool, and work with Groups, Districts, Counties, Regions and Campsites across the UK!
Being a subsidiary of a full-service, award-winning digital marketing agency, we’re clued up on digital trends and understand the increasing demand from internet users, so we know quite a bit when it comes to designing and building online presences, as well as marketing them afterwards. Most of our team are members of The Scouts in some way too; some of us are leaders, and some have District and County roles locally.

So, why do we all come to work in the morning? Our aim is to strive to improve the presence of The Scouts online. We do this by creating fun and engaging websites with a great design and flawless user experience for Scout Groups, Districts, Regions, Counties and Campsites that drive joining and volunteering, as well as showcase a large amount of information. And if it falls out of the remit above, we can probably help you with that too, all you need to do is ask!
Our Managing Director, Josh Diamond
Scout Websites was founded by Josh Diamond in 2012, and now employs a team of designers, developers and project managers here in our Liverpool office. Josh has a wealth of experience in both web design and development, and holds several local Scouting volunteer roles.
So, what experience have we got?
With over 350 websites under our belt for The Scout Association, we’d definitely say we’re the experts! We’ve worked with many different Explorer Scout Units, Scout Groups, Districts, Counties, Regions and Campsites across the UK. Support is hugely important too, so we make sure we’re here for you whenever you need us, before or after launch, whether it’s because you’ve got a hosting question, or you need help updating something. We host every website that we build (unless you prefer otherwise), so we’ve got great experience in giving the best customer experience available, with our developers talking directly to you should you have an issue with your website!
“We committed to a new website a few months ago with Scout Websites, and have been extremely happy with the outcome and service we have received. Our new on-brand website seamlessly integrates with Online Scout Manager, provides a secure members area, collates joining requests and allows our members to purchase events, removing the need for us to handle money. I would like to say a huge thank you to the team for the countless conversations, supporting us to create a website on such a tight timescale. They always finds the time to speak to us, work hard to find solutions to problems and keep us informed of everything going on!” – Matt, West Monkton, Somerset
Fancy working with our team?
If you’re involved in Scouts and would like to see what is involved with creating a new website for your Group, District, County, Region or Campsite, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us. We’ll be more than happy to communicate over email if it’s easier, or talk you through the process over the phone when you’ve got time. We know you’re volunteers, so outside of normal work hours is absolutely fine with us.
Our HQ overlooking Albert Dock in Liverpool has a full-time team of 15 designers, developers, project managers and marketeers.
We saw an advert for a fully mobile-friendly website for an unbelievable price that included hosting for a year. We are really pleased with our new site, it looks great, is easy to use and has had great feedback from the Group. Money well spent. Scout Websites are highly recommended!
