Chorley District chooses us for a new website!

We’re pleased to begin work with Chorley District’s team on their new Scout website in the Skills for Life branding.

The North West-based District, is one of eight Districts within West Lancashire Scout County. Chorley spans a huge realm of Scouting members and adult volunteers with 21 Scout Groups throughout the Scouting District.

The new website, built by us, will be one step towards a complete overhaul of their media and communications strategy, bringing their online presence in line with Skills for Life before the May 2020 deadline.

Problems that a District website will solve include:

• Improving overall communication by allowing easily accessible information and downloads.
• Providing the ability to showcase leader training dates, and allow for attendance management and reminders.
• Ensuring GDPR compliance and adding security through password protected areas and safe storage of data.
• Boosting recruitment and engagement of potential and existing members through bespoke Join and Enquiry forms, easily editable news, events and gallery areas, and integrating with the District’s social media.
